Pick The Right Customers

Back in 2009 I was doing a business course led by Blaise Brosnan.

The course resembled a “round-table” of 15 local business owners or entrepreneurs.

Over the course of 6 months, we would meet up every Tuesday evening in a fantastic hotel venue to hear more from Blaise.

Blaise is one of those older chaps who you instantly know has more business sense in his little finger than the rest of the room. He’s a true gentleman, and would stand in the middle of the room, and impart his wisdom slowly, clearly, and with a smile on his face.

There were plentiful stories, lots of laughs, and even more “aha” moments.

Blaise’s advice for getting the most out of each session was to take away one thing that you would do differently in your business… not to take away 10 things and do nothing.

Great advice.

I came away with many golden nuggets.

One inspired a blog post back in 2009.

PS: That fantastic hotel venue is 5 minutes from where I live. If you’re ever in this neck of the woods, then let me know and I’ll meet up with you for a coffee.
